We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to support grant development, administration, and compliance activities across the college. This position assists faculty and staff in the development and submission of grant proposals, including researching and identifying funding opportunities and coordinating with project teams to develop competitive proposals aligned with funding requirements. The role supports the administration and implementation of grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and funding agency regulations, and monitors project progress to help achieve successful outcomes. This position serves as the primary data manager for grant-related activities, maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and supporting audit readiness through proper documentation and record retention practices. The position also assists with the preparation and review of required reports submitted to funding agencies and utilizes electronic submission and reporting systems to manage proposals and project data. Additionally, this role serves as a resource to faculty and staff on grant processes, provides guidance and support as needed, and contributes to the overall operation and continuity of the grants office. A bachelor's degree and professional experience in business, personnel, grant-in-aid, public administration, or a related field. At least four (4) years of relevant professional experience in business, grant administration, or public administration is preferred. A master's degree in English, communications, education, science, project management, or a closely related field, along with experience in grant writing and grant administration, is desirable. The ideal candidate will have experience developing successful grant proposals, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience working with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Familiarity with federal grant regulations and with federal, state, and private funding sources, especially for higher education, is also preferred. This position requires occasional evening or weekend work to meet grant deadlines and may require the submission of a writing sample with the application. Applicants may be subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
