FUND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER-NONPROFIT
Are you looking for an opportunity that will provide a sense of purpose, community and selfless service? We are in search of a dynamic Fund Development Manager! Reporting to the Executive Director, this multi-faceted opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about our mission, fund development, event planning/execution, grant writing, and strategic communications. The Fund Development Manager is responsible for promoting the organization in a positive, cost-effective way, to impact high levels of private, foundation, and corporate donations. This position is responsible for telling our story using all available channels.ORGANIZATION
HeartLove Place is a nonprofit Christian Ministry dedicated to serving Milwaukee families. Located in the Harambee community of Milwaukee, HLP has been a part of the community since 1989. With a heart of love; teach, encourage and support families through programs and services centered in Christian values.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in nonprofit management or fund raising.
- At least four years of proven experience in the field of fundraising and grant writing..
- Knowledgeable with online foundation submissions.
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility in hours to accommodate fund raising events, meetings and other after hour activities.
- Strong leadership in working with volunteers in order to meet fund development goals
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel etc.
- MUST have a valid WI driver's license and the ability to drive to meetings, events etc. Responsibilities include :
- Oversee and guide the existing philanthropic programs resulting in expanded revenue streams (grants, major gifts, individual giving, planned giving, corporate/foundation, and annual giving programs).
- Identify, research, develop and achieve budgeted results with new revenue streams.
- Increase philanthropic support through identification of prospects and development of effective and successful engagement strategies.
- Work in collaboration with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and other team members to coordinate and oversee the annual giving campaign and increase support and visibility.
- Ability to execute fund development strategies in a creative, cost-effective manner.
- Effective grant writing, tracking, and success.
- Maintain positive relationships with current and past donors; ensure strong cultivation and solicitation programs are in place and effective to achieve this end.
