Glendale, Arizona, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a contract opportunity with our client in Glendale, Arizona. Overview This role involves performing cycle counts, stockroom receiving, and supporting kitting functions in an inventory control environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities Validate accuracy of bin locations during cycle counts and count materials using appropriate tools, documenting quantities in SAP, and resealing items.
Verify receipt of items from receiving and incoming, prepare items for storage, and process items using SAP, ensuring proper labeling and data accuracy.
Support the kitting process by pulling materials, validating data against labels, repackaging materials, and returning residuals to proper locations.
Wear appropriate PPE, including ESD smocks, safety straps, and gloves, and operate a powered industrial truck when required.
Support administrative tasks related to stockroom reports, filing, and inter-departmental transport of materials.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain compliance with internal control procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with functional experience
Ability to be detailed oriented and stay focused
Experience with inventory control, SAP, and handling electrical materials preferred
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without significant difficulty
