New Vehicle Inventory Clerk

Immediate opening for a qualified auto dealership Inventory Clerk. This vital role manages and maintains new Ford vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate records for efficient operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and close attention to detail. The role will handle various new inventory-related tasks in a fast pace, and positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain new vehicle inventories Stock in all new Ford factory vehicles in accounting and prepare inventory jackets Prepare addendums and any market adjustments Stock in and process all dealer trades and direct new vehicle purchases Review new inventory schedules to ensure accuracy Reconcile physical inventory counts with actual stock at month end Track vehicle location as needed Communicate with the office, sales management, delivery drivers and porters regarding inventory status and any discrepancies Ensure compliance with company policies and practices Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records Additional duties as needed related to preparing new vehicles for sale

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in dealership accounting and inventory management Experience in Dealerbuilt / Lightyear Dealer Management System a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and inventory management systems Current California Driver's License and other I-9 verification documents Strong communication skills both written and verbal Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy is essential Proficiency in 10-key and other office equipment Tech-savvy and comfortable with web-based programs Team player who is coachable and strives to grow Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others Dependable, able to work independently and efficiently Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced environment and changing priorities. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues related to inventory
