Cycle Counter Job Description We are seeking diligent Cycle Counters to join a large defense company located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa, CA. This position operates on a day shift from 7am to 5pm and includes a significant amount of overtime. The primary responsibility is to conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations. Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules. Reconcile physical inventory counts with system inventory records. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including transaction errors and process issues. Document count results and adjustments accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate variances and trends to Inventory Control and Warehouse leadership. Assist with year‑end or full physical inventory counts as required. Verify product locations, quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers as applicable. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse processes. Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures. Essential Skills Proficiency in material handling, cycle counting, and inventory management. Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite. Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
