Job Description

The Neil Jones Food Company is an industry leader, processing superior quality fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation's discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years.
NJFC operates three production facilities:
Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. We are looking for a seasonal Inventory Cycle Counter to monitor materials inventory and perform cycle counting duties to ensure that all inventories are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. This role will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through proper processing of put away, and transfers at our TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA. Neil Jones Food Company Key Responsibilities:
Performs cycle counts on finished goods and reports non-conforming goods on daily basis. Utilizes PeopleSoft RF software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity. Ensures materials are in proper locations; conducts searches in order to locate misclassified or misplaced inventory. Completes cycle count reports with identified discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products. Accurately and efficiently locates goods, both physically and in computer database (PeopleSoft). Verifies put away locations from the previous day and reports findings and discrepancies that need to be corrected.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of factory-related experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving. Forklift Certification and current California driver's license. Able to use computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft RF systems. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
