Nutritional Services Inventory Associate (Part-time, Day Shift)

Job Summary:

Receives, inspects, counts and processes all incoming supplies. Ensures proper rotation of all perishable and non-perishable food items. Documents all receipts and orders into computer tracking system. Maintains proper sanitation of storeroom, walk in refrigerators, freezers and surrounding areas.

Education and Work Experience:

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience:

Preferred Essential Functions:

Orders food and food supplies that meet hospital food safety regulations and menu requirements. Monitors and ensures cleanliness of storage and inventory facilities. Handles, processes, and monitors all food orders in a safe manner. Maintains computer system for keeping track of food orders. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
