Job Description

Old Master Products looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work with our inventory team and our warehouse team to continually adjust inventory . This role will utilize both the forklift and computer apps to make sure that our inventory levels are correct and always up to date. The right candidate will have great attention to detail, a forklift certification, computer skills, quick typing and data entry, and great problem solving. This job will assist our operations team with various projects focused on inventory and warehouse organization. A typical day in this job will have you moving pallets of hardwood floors, counting and rearranging products, then entering your inventory counts into our software. When not working on inventory projects you will assist in the daily operations of our warehouse which includes pulling orders, palletizing and wrapping pallets, and checking orders before shipping. Additionally, this position may be asked to drive to our other 6 locations in Southern California to assist with inventory projects. Mileage will be paid, but applicants need to have a reliable mode of transportation. Responsibilities of an
Inventory Associate :
Manage and maintain the inventory located within the warehouse Use Excel and other software to keep detailed records of inventory Provide detailed reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Troubleshoot internal and external customer issues Work closely with operations team to resolve inventory issues and perform inventory checks Pick and pack orders Responsible for making sure all orders are packed perfectly and neatly Keep the warehouse safe, organized and in working condition at all times Be able to lift heavy boxes almost daily (50 pounds) - hardwood floors are not light Think in solutions, not problems while demonstrating sense of urgency Use pen and paper, computer work, data entry, generate labels Qualifications of a Inventory Associate Entrepreneurial attitude: must be self-managed and resourceful Incredibly organized Experience with inventory counting Experience in warehouse, picking/packing, or shipping is preferred Experience working with sit down forklift Valid Driver License and ability to drive to other OMP locations in Southern California Above and beyond communication skills Willing to do OT when necessary Monday - Friday 8am-6pm with 1 hour lunch break Overtime Daily if Required There are many opportunities for career advancement within the company.
