Materials/Purchaser will be responsible for purchasing supplies and establishing inventory controls. Must be able to efficiently maintain inventory levels of supplies to promote optimum patient care while maintaining cost effective measures.
- Must be able to work independently, organized, ability to prioritize and multi task.
- Must have good communication/phone skills, professional, possess strategic thinking regarding inventory needs.
- Positive attitude, reliable and flexible.
- Maintaining par levels throughout the facility at all times.
- Ordering of all supplies, including the operating room. Daily monitoring and stocking of supplies. This includes purchasing, reconciliation, billing, putting stock away.
- Must be able to lift and move packages.
- Must be organized, flexible, and detail oriented. Able to work with vendors on all supply issues.
- Receiving supplies, checking accuracy against packing slips, reconciling the packing slips to the original purchase order, complete order with invoice and entering them in Quickbooks for accounting.
- Experience in a hospital or ASC setting preferred.
- Quickbooks experience preferred.
