Santa Clara, CA Job Details $110,000 - $125,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Inventory Clerk As an Inventory Clerk , you will support production and materials operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing stockroom materials, and ensuring parts are properly received, labeled, stored, counted, and issued. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting on-time production builds, and helping ensure materials are available when needed. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, components, and subassemblies; verify part numbers, quantities, labeling, and condition against packing slips, purchase orders, and system records. Inspect incoming materials for visible damage, shortages, labeling issues, or discrepancies, and escalate concerns to Materials, Purchasing, or Quality as needed. Accurately enter material receipts, inventory transfers, adjustments, issues, and other transactions into the ERP/MRP system. Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are stored in the correct locations with proper identification and labeling. Pull, stage, and issue materials to production based on work orders, kits, production schedules, or internal material requests. Support cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. Assist with investigating shortages, overages, misplaced materials, and transaction errors. Handle and store electronic components, PCB assemblies, and other sensitive materials in accordance with ESD, MSD, and company handling requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled stockroom, inventory, staging, and production supply areas. Assist with packaging, material transfers, and preparation of inventory for internal movement or outbound shipment when needed. Coordinate with Production Control, Buyers, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Manufacturing teams to support material availability and resolve inventory issues. Follow all safety, quality, documentation, and material control procedures at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional warehouse, inventory, or technical training preferred. 1+ year of experience in inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials support; manufacturing or electronics experience preferred. Familiarity with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, material labeling, stockroom organization, and basic warehouse practices. Experience using ERP/MRP systems and basic computer tools, including email, Excel, and data entry. Familiarity with ESD controls and proper handling of electronic components is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, label, record, and organize materials. Ability to follow written work instructions, procedures, and documentation requirements. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Materials, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift as required.
