Inventory Associate Groskopf Warehouse and Logistics Sonoma, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $24 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Forklift Certification Microsoft Excel Customer service Research Forklift Attention to detail Full Job Description The inventory associate is responsible for the day to day workings of the inventory department. This includes all receiving's, movements of inventory, and reports. The inventory associate helps the warehouse, customer service, and the accounting department. Attention to the smallest detail is required.
Primary Duties:
Comply with our company values of honesty, integrity, and accountability Understand the workings of a "bonded" warehouse Understand the tax implications of bonded wine Day to day receiving's entered in compliance with our policy Double checking warehouse inbound receipt forms Print pallet tags Check and double check orders picked by the warehouse in a timely manner Conduct accurate cycle counts Participate in a full count every March by entering and reconciling inventory counts Do counts to research inventory shortages Enter breakage and damage reports Research "can't finds" on a daily basis by looking up past locations and doing research to find missing cases Transfer wine between buildings and per customer requests Enter movements in a timely manner - within 24hrs Communicate with customers Communicate and work with other Groskopf departments Trouble shooting and taking care of urgent issues as they happen Researching shipping errors Conduct cycle counts to verify shipping errors Compile data about monthly errors Learn AMS and Excel software o Create new item setups, new lane setups, reports, etc. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have prior knowledge of the wine industry and AMS. Must be fork lift certified and comply with all safety rules. Prior inventory experience preferred.Job Type:
