Inventory Control Associate Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturer seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join its growing team. The Inventory Control Associate will maintain inventory control in the stockroom, operating on a first-in, first-out basis. The Inventory Control Associate will create production kits and control the release of the kits in accordance with the MRP plan. The ideal Inventory Control Associate is able to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within and between departments. The Inventory Control Associate is a full-time, direct-hire position in Newbury Park, CA.
Inventory Control Associate Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate Written Data Such as Job Orders, Parts & Materials Inventory Lists & Machine Worker Production Rates to Establish Efficient Allocation & Scheduling of Parts, Materials, Machines & Sequences of Operations & Workflow Determine Kit Release, In-Process Work Orders & Expedite Workflow Issues With Written & Oral Instructions Assign Work for Exactness, Neatness & Conformance to Policies & Procedures Continually Look For Ways to Improve & Promote Quality & Monitor Own Work to Ensure Quality Display a Willingness to Make Decisions, Exhibiting Sound & Accurate Judgement & Including Appropriate People in the
Decision-Making Process Prioritize & Plan Work Activities & Use Time Efficiently Inventory Control Associate Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 1+ Years of Related Experience &/or Training; or Equivalent Combination of Education & Experience Must be Competent in The Use of Microsoft Word & Excel Must be Able to Identify & Resolve Problems Promptly, Gather & Analyze Information Skillfully, Suggest Alternative Solutions & Work Well in Group Problem-Solving Situations Must Have Good Communication Skills Both Verbal & Written Must be Able to Work as Part as a Team, Including Being Open to Other Viewpoints, Giving & Welcoming Feedback & Supporting Everyone's Efforts to
