Inventory Control Clerk Express Employment Professionals - 3.8 Newbury Park, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Referral program Qualifications Spreadsheets Warehouse management system Forklift Attention to detail Warehouse experience RF scanner Root cause analysis Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, location management, and process improvement to support efficient order fulfillment and reduce shrinkage. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cycle counts on pick faces, bulk storage, and reserve locations Investigate inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis Process inventory adjustments with proper documentation Monitor receiving, putaway, picking, and transfers for accuracy Ensure proper bin labeling and location organization Validate empty and zeroed inventory locations Assign, oversee, and support cycle count activities Train warehouse staff and temporary teams on inventory procedures Recount and validate inventory variances Track inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and variance trends Maintain inventory logs and recommend corrective actions Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives and SOP updates Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse inventory control experience Experience with WMS systems and RF scanners Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Forklift experience with current certification Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Performance Metrics Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or higher Meet cycle count completion goals Support shrinkage reduction initiatives
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
