Job Description

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Parts Associate with a focus on inventory management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of parts, maintaining accurate stock levels, and assisting in sales activities to promote our aftermarket products. This role is perfect for someone with an interest in automotive parts who is keen on starting a career in sales and inventory control.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including physical handling of parts and inventory.
  • Forklift certification or experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to answer a phone professionally.
  • Proficiency in computer typing skills is preferred but not mandatory for this job qualification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Inventory Management:
    Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand. Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Utilize inventory management software to track parts in and out of the facility. Organize and maintain the parts department for optimal accessibility and efficiency.
    Sales Support:
    Assist customers in selecting the correct parts for their needs, providing information on product features, benefits, and availability. Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Work closely with the sales team to understand market demands and trends.
    Order Processing:
    Process orders, returns, and special orders for parts. Coordinate with suppliers for order placements, returns, and ensuring timely delivery.
    Reporting:
    Generate reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and stock movement. Suggest improvements for inventory turnover and sales strategies.
    Team Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless business operations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning for inventory and sales.
    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
    Salary Range:
    $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on prior experience
