2 Positions Job Summary Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Site Associates to support fulfillment and inventory operations at a manufacturing facility in Merritt Island, FL. This is a physically demanding outdoor position requiring the movement of heavy materials in tight spaces and exposure to Florida weather conditions. Qualified candidates will have experience with receiving, inventory control, packaging, shipping, and forklift operation, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Duties / Responsibilities
Receive and unload shipments from carriers. Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with standard operating procedures. Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Process receipts and work orders using inventory management systems. Package, wrap, and store parts throughout the fulfillment and manufacturing process. Sort, stage, label, and identify materials to maintain traceability. Assign and audit storage locations for individual and bulk inventory. Perform quality control checks on parts and materials. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach trucks, and turret trucks. Move heavy parts and materials safely throughout the facility. Identify production or workflow issues and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of fulfillment center, warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience. Previous forklift certification and operating experience required. Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs). Experience with receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, packaging, and shipping processes. Strong computer and data entry skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in sunlight and in physically demanding environments. Flexibility to work other shifts as needed. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, manufacturing, or automotive industry experience. Experience with inventory management systems. Familiarity with continuous improvement and root cause analysis processes. Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks and turret trucks.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
