Warehouse Manager / Sales Associate

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and thoughtful individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager / Sales Associate . This position combines warehouse operations, inventory management, battery maintenance, forklift operation, customer service, and retail sales. While warehouse responsibilities are critical, this role is also one of the most visible positions in our company. In many cases, you will be the first person our customers interact with when they walk through our doors or call our business. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a positive customer experience and understands that exceptional service is one of the reasons customers choose to do business with us. The right candidate will be comfortable working in the warehouse one moment and assisting customers with their battery needs the next. Schedule & Expectations This is a full-time, in-person position based in Douglasville, Georgia. Expected Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Applicants should be dependable, punctual, and prepared to be present and engaged throughout the workday. Because this role is responsible for serving customers, receiving shipments, maintaining inventory, and supporting daily operations, reliability and consistency are extremely important. Occasional overtime or Saturday hours may be available during particularly busy periods, but the standard expectation is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM . ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory Load and unload batteries and materials safely Charge, test, maintain, and rotate battery inventory Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse Ensure inventory is properly stored and easily accessible Inventory Management Utilize our electronic inventory management system Perform inventory counts and audits Monitor stock levels and assist with purchasing decisions Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns Maintain accurate inventory records Ensure inventory accuracy and accountability Customer Service & Sales Assist retail, commercial, municipal, and wholesale customers Answer phones and customer inquiries Help customers identify the correct battery solutions for their needs Create quotes, invoices, and sales orders Process transactions using our Point of Sale (POS) system Build relationships with repeat customers Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages repeat business Administrative & Operational Support Utilize POS and inventory software systems Process receiving documents and purchase orders Assist with operational improvements and efficiency initiatives Support management with day-to-day business operations Customer Service Is A Major Part Of This Role At Forged Battery Supply, our customers range from individual retail customers to commercial accounts, municipalities, fleets, repair shops, contractors, and distributors. The person in this role will often be: Greeting customers when they enter our store Answering phones and assisting walk-in traffic Helping customers find solutions to their battery needs Creating invoices and processing transactions Building relationships with repeat customers Representing the Forged Battery Supply brand We believe great customer service is just as important as maintaining an organized warehouse.
