Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking a Inventory Specialist who can oversee all the activities related to ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and products. Our ideal candidate has working knowledge of administrative inventory management and coordination.Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and digital records. Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions. Maintain and update inventory records. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify root causes. Ensure that inventory ERP system is maintained and reflects the true value. Prepare inventory reports for management as needed. Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products. Other duties as assigned and modifiable job responsibilities. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365, a plus. The ability to manage multiple inventory projects at a time. High school Diploma/GED required.Preferred Qualifications:
