As a Store Auditor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of store inventory and cash operations across Maverik locations. This position combines hands-on auditing, problem-solving, and team collaboration to support operational excellence while helping stores maintain accurate processes and financial accountability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based out of Maverik stores throughout the assigned territory and requires extensive travel, including overnight and out-of-town travel.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Store Auditor is responsible for conducting inventory and cash audits across Maverik store locations, researching discrepancies, and ensuring store processes are completed accurately. This role partners closely with store teams to provide training, improve operational accuracy, and maintain compliance with company standards. Perform daily inventory audits in scheduled Maverik store locations. Research inventory discrepancies and identify root causes of variances. Correct improper receiving and invoice entry issues. Complete cash audits on store safes and verify accuracy of cash handling procedures. Review and validate physical inventory counts for accuracy and compliance. Train store personnel on proper invoice entry and receiving procedures. Compile audit findings and prepare required reports for leadership review. Work independently while also collaborating effectively with store teams and fellow auditors. Travel extensively, including overnight and out-of-town travel as required. You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of related auditing, retail, inventory, cash handling, or Maverik store experience. Experience identifying discrepancies, researching issues, and resolving operational inconsistencies. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Comfortable communicating with store teams, providing coaching, and delivering training when needed. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to escalate concerns appropriately. Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel. The Maverik Spirit

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$18.50 $21.00/ hr. + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
