JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Inventory Associate with Equipment Operator expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records while also operating various types of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring inventory accuracy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Accurately record all inventory movements, including receiving, shipping, and internal transfers. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to optimize space utilization. Assist with physical inventory preparation and execution in accordance with customer KPIs.
Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts, including clamp lifts, reach trucks, and order pickers as needed. Safely load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas. Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
Data Entry and Documentation:
Input inventory data into the company's computerized inventory system. Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and adjustments. Generate reports on inventory levels and activity as required.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality. Identify damaged or defective products and report them to the supervisor. Ensure that inventory is stored securely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to coordinate inventory-related tasks. Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including packing and labeling.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control and workplace safety. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Warehouse Inventory Associate with equipment operation capabilities. Valid forklift operator's certification and experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment. Proficiency in using computerized inventory systems and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor. Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight. Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

This position may involve working in a warehouse environment that includes exposure to varying temperatures and physical demands. The candidate should be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
