  • 12:00AM Overview Xcel is seeking a detail oriented Temp to hire Inventory control Kitter.
The Inventory Control Kitter is responsible for accurately picking, preparing kits of materials, components, or parts required for production, assembly, or shipment. This role ensures all kits meet quality and quantity requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient material flow throughout the organization. Responsibilities Pick and assemble materials, parts, or components according to work orders, or production schedules. Verify kit contents for accuracy, completeness, and quality prior to release. Update inventory records and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other stock control activities. Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Identify opportunities to improve kitting processes and reduce waste. Qualifications Required Blueprint reading or Metal fabrication experience Basic understanding of inventory systems and bills of materials Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills , ERP or inventory management software experience preferred Must be able to read and write English Ability to work OT as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. PPE Requirements Employees are responsible for wearing steel toe shoes on-site Employer is responsible for providing safety glasses and earplugs on-site Pay 17
