Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing cycle counts: Regularly counting specific items from the inventory according to a predetermined schedule, comparing the physical count to the system record, and documenting any discrepancies.
Inventory data management:
Entering cycle count data into the inventory system, updating stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies.
Identifying and resolving inventory issues:
Investigating the root causes of inventory discrepancies, such as damaged goods, incorrect labeling, or system errors, and taking corrective actions. Maintaining product identification and location systems: Ensuring proper labeling and organization of inventory within the warehouse to facilitate accurate counting.
Reporting and analysis:
Generating reports on cycle count results, identifying trends, and highlighting areas for improvement.
Auditing checks:
Performing periodic audits of inventory to verify accuracy Collaborating with warehouse staff: Working with other warehouse personnel to resolve inventory issues and coordinate receiving processes. Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with inventory management systems Basic math skills Experience with Microsoft Excel, BPCS and D365 Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment Good communications skills, both verbal and written Strategic thinker Confident and disciplined to work alone or on a team Fork lift experience preferred Scale operation for small parts Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
