Will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP) , and finished goods within a wood manufacturing facility. This role supports production, purchasing, and warehouse operations by ensuring material availability, minimizing discrepancies, and maintaining system accuracy within the ERP system. In addition, this role will be responsible for receiving material in the ERP system accurately. Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day activities of the inventory control department. Provide direction on cycle counting to inventory control personnel and other departments when needed. Operate the cycle count console, including inventory analysis and adjustments and recording historical data. Research inventory discrepancies and make the necessary changes in the warehouse management system when needed. Resolve inventory issues in a timely manner. Maintain inventory reports according to standaard documentation and archiving procedures. Perform Receiving functions in the ERP sysetm. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential skills and experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Basic computer skills, including general familiarity with inventory or WMS systems. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Read English and Basic Math Skills Hands-on experience operating forklifts or other materials handling equipment is preferred: certification is a plus.
