Position Summary Zachary Confections is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting production, warehouse, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Review daily production paperwork for accuracy, including job quantities, lot numbers, ingredients, WIP (Work in Progress), and inventory movements Perform daily inventory issues for production jobs Research and resolve shortages, overages, incorrect quantities, lot number issues, and inventory exceptions Work closely with warehouse, production, receiving, and purchasing teams to resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate records of adjustments, inventory issues, and counts Assist with cycle counts and month-end inventory processes Stage and count production jobs, including issuing ingredients and liquids as directed Prepare daily WIP inventory information for management Follow inventory control procedures and suggest practical process improvements Perform additional inventory, warehouse, and production support duties as assigned Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing environment Work includes time in the warehouse, production floor, and office areas Exposure to food production equipment, moving machinery, and moderate noise levels Climate-controlled facility Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify small errors Good math skills and comfort working with quantities, counts, and basic calculations Ability to follow manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, lot tracking, and food-safety procedures Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to learn company inventory systems Ability to write legibly and maintain accurate paperwork Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime, including month-end Saturdays Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with multiple departments Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, production support, receiving, cycle counting, or food manufacturing is preferred Why Join Zachary Confections?
