Summary Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Central Materials Associate to join our team in Lexington, KY! This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of supplies and equipment essential for patient carewithin the healthcare facility. Duties include physical product or equipment receipt, accurate productstorage, distribution, and maintaining inventory accuracy, within stringent ERP system guidelines. This rolemay also include cleaning and redistribution of patient portable equipment.
Essential Duties:
Fulfill requisitions and distribute supplies to various departments. Obtain necessary authorizations and signatures for delivered items. Assist with urgent department deliveries and prioritize requests to meet clinical needs promptly. Receive/intake incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment. Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy. Breakdown shipments and stage shipments for receipt into ERP system. Put away supplies to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory control, maintaining accreditation storagerequirements, for stock rotation, and expiration. Monitor inventory levels (cycle count) and participate in periodic physical inventory counts. Identify and report expired or damaged inventory for proper disposal or replacement. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in storage and work areas.
Qualifications:
