Job Description

POSITION TITLE
Inventory Control Analyst
DEPARTMENT
Tarter
REPORTS TO
Assigned Supervisor STATUS:
Full Time Hourly Position
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position's primary focus is to assure inventory accuracy on all materials within the operation through production jobs, cycle counts and analysis of the transaction data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management, and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company): Create and close production jobs Research the transactions and additional evidence and decide on the best option to correct the inventory if needed. Verify inventory accuracy on parts either identified via Epicor or Management. Assist with the cycle counts Receiving clerk. Assist in maintaining the necessary labeling/identification for all material locations. Assist the Materials Department in maintaining all procedures related to material flow. Assist with any other Material/Inventory related functions. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of an Inventory Control System and basic understanding of the cycle count process. Basic skills within Epicor. Ability to analyze the data and circumstances and make a well-founded decision. Self-motivated (must have the desire to complete a task timely with limited oversight)
WORKING CONDITIONS
General factory setting with some outside work involved. Additionally, there will be some office time. Pace can be fast or slow and methodical, depending on the requirements. The position may involve some lifting of materials up to 40lbs •
