Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Lost Inventory Clerk, 1st Shift to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that company inventory remains balanced, assists in maintaining inventory records, and maintains inventory accuracy across the distribution centerA day on the job looks like this:
Checks warehouse inventory against computerized records and ensures all inventory is accounted for in WMSReviewing and auditing inventory activities, including movements and adjustments that occur throughout the buildingScheduling Inventory counts to clear up any discrepanciesAssign workloads to countersResearching staging locations to ensure accuracyReconciling inventory discrepancies by detailed research into the different functions used throughout the warehouseResearching previous adjustments and make new adjustments as neededLearning all areas of the distribution center to learn how an item is lost and help promote ways to prevent inventory from becoming lostQualificationsGot the skills and experience? Here's what we're looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent.1-2 years of prior inventory experience.
Basic computer skills (e.g. personal computers, printers, email).Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and able to research many different areas of the system.
Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent Math skillsAdditional InformationAnd here's our end of the bargain!
