Job Description

A manufacturing client of ours in Paris, KY is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of inventory accuracy, managing inter-warehouse material transfers, and overseeing the production flow of the assembly team. This role serves as a vital bridge between production, shipping, and procurement, ensuring that stock levels are optimized, work orders are executed on time, and quality standards are consistently met.
salary:
$19 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30

High SchoolResponsibilities Inter-Warehouse Transfers & Logistics:
Processes material transfers to sister warehouses using customer-level documentation and labeling standards; coordinates freight scheduling with receiving teams.
Inventory Control & ERP Integrity:
Conducts regular cycle counts (daily, weekly, monthly), investigates discrepancies, and maintains real-time data accuracy within the ERP system.
Stock Optimization:
Monitors minimum/maximum stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocks; tracks and reports on aging, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory.
RMA & Labeling Management:
Manages the entire Return Material Authorization (RMA) lifecycle from intake to resolution and handles warehouse identification printing/labeling.
Work Order Administration:
Tracks open work orders with operations leadership, organizes and schedules workflows to meet shipping deadlines, and audits/closes out completed orders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partners with purchasing, production, and shipping teams to communicate material status, resolve inquiries, and continuously improve warehouse layout and inventory procedures.
Reporting & Compliance:
Generates regular inventory health reports (accuracy metrics, stock variances) and ensures alignment with corporate compliance policies.
