Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Property Officer II to support our mission of providing exceptional care and services to Kentucky's Veterans. If you thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy managing inventory and logistics, and take pride in keeping operations running efficiently, we encourage you to apply. As a Property Officer II, you will play an essential role in ensuring supplies, equipment, and materials are received, stored, distributed, and tracked accurately to support the daily operations of our long-term care facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming supplies and equipment for accuracy and quality. Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with the issuance and tracking of supplies. Report discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, or shipping issues promptly. Assist with local and contract purchasing activities utilizing the state procurement card. Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas in accordance with facility standards. Operate equipment and machinery necessary for moving and accessing inventory. Report equipment concerns and performs minor maintenance as appropriate. Assist with the management and disposition of surplus property. Deliver supplies and special orders to departments throughout the facility. Prepare and maintain inventory records, reports, and related documentation.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS
