Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse operations team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining efficient inventory control.
Receive and unload incoming deliveries, verifying quantity and quality against purchase ordersProcess and document all incoming shipments using computerized inventory systemsInspect received materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issuesCompare invoices and delivery documents to purchase orders for accuracyTransport and store materials in appropriate locations following warehouse organization protocolsMaintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management systemOperate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficientlyAssist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliationCoordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries and discrepanciesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving areaProcess and track non-PO packages and freightComplete all required documentation and maintain accurate recordsSupport warehouse team members with stock organization and rotation as needed QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of experience in warehouse receiving operationsProficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate counting and reconciliationPhysical ability to lift up to 75 pounds without accommodationCapability to work in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, temperature-controlled areas)Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and electric pallet jacksValid driver's licenseStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated experience in following safety protocols and proceduresStrong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyAdditional InformationBoyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
