Operations Support Tech, Thurs-Mon 12-8pm Big Easy Management New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Google Sheets Field service Slack Full Job Description This task-focused role is based at our warehouse with calls out to our properties to assist as needed. The position is responsible for helping maintain organization, inventory, and day-to-day operations for our portfolio of properties. This is not a management position, and motivation to execute assigned tasks independantly and efficiently is required. The position includes light inventory management, basic computer and administrative tasks, and serving as an on-site support resource for operational needs. Driving throughout the Uptown and Downtown areas of New Orleans to complete small tasks at our properties is frequent. As issues arise, this team member will be deployed to various properties to assist with light tasks such as deliveries, basic troubleshooting, supply replenishment, inspections, and operational support needs. •This role requires reliable personal transportation and has a non-traditional schedule of Thursday through Monday 12 PM to either 7 PM or 9 PM. •
Weekly Schedule Days Off:
Tuesday, Wednesday Thurs-Sat | 12:00pm - 9:00pm (9 hours)
Focus:
Weekend property preparation and on-demand tasks as needed Assisting weekend property readiness by completing quick-solve tasks on site at various properties. This may include visual checks, extremely light maintenance, restocks, troubleshooting, emergent small purchases. Replenish inventory from backstock to 'front stock' for available use by our teams Warehouse organization and logging of inventory Audit regularly scheduled property services spreadsheet (landscaping care, fire inspections, filter changes etc.) Friday and Saturday ONLY | 4:00pm-8pm
Hotel Coverage Focus:
Assisting to resolve in-house guest maintenance issues Minor maintenance and quality control checks On-site support at one of our French Quarter-adjascent properties with 38 rooms Response using our internal platform and Slack to coordinate task execution. Sunday & Monday | 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Focus:
Post-weekend stabilization On-Site at BEM Warehouse Runs to properties as eyes-on to get more information on issues by guests on departure Identify and document damages Monitor and report reorder needs for consumables Warehouse organization and inventory Audit regularly scheduled property services spreadsheet Documentation Requirements Use of Google Calendar to document general whereabouts and time spent on runs vs. spent at the warehouse Some experience with Google Sheets or Excel required. Maintenance tasks in our internal task system, Breezeway, must be created, logged and/or updated in real time using the Breezeway app. Communication & Availability Standards During scheduled working hours: Phone calls should be answered immediately Slack and text responses are required within 10 minutes
Pay:
