Inventory Clerk

Our client, a leading cold storage and logistics provider, is looking for an Inventory Clerk to join their team in Fall River, MA. This role supports warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring products are properly tracked and stored within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct scheduled cycle counts of inventory within the cold storage facility Identify and document discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing warehouse records and transaction history Update and maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Perform regular physical inventory counts and assist with periodic or annual audits Oversee daily inventory activities including receiving, storing, and distributing products Accurately record all inventory transactions and maintain up-to-date records Generate and review inventory reports to identify trends or discrepancies Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality and integrity Communicate with customers regarding inventory status and resolve related issues Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve inventory processes and operational efficiency Maintain organized inventory areas and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Requirements:

1-2 years of inventory management or cycle counting experience , preferably in a warehouse or cold storage environment Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in counting and data entry Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory scanners or handheld devices Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
