Description:
- Position Purpose
- Receives, checks and stocks all incoming supplies. Inventories, puts up and distributes supplies, equipment, and mail.
- What you will do
- + Properly identify and mark all patient charge items using stickers or cards + Deliver medical surgical supplies, on demand supplies and STATs as assigned + Keep accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsible + Accurately inventory all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levels + Monitor supplies in various nursing departments + Ensure rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroom + Transport supplies, mail etc.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + High school or GED equivalent for regularly scheduled positions + One year storeroom or related experience + Must be able to communicate in English + Ability to operate all appropriate material handling equipment and use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system
