Maryland Core Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and organize inbound shipments Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders accurately Maintain inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation Label and store products systematically Support periodic inventory counts and reconciliation 2. Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, shop, and utility areas Perform routine sweeping, trash removal, and workspace organization Ensure safe storage practices and OSHA-compliant workspace conditions Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues 3. Procurement & Purchase Order Support Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders Track vendor confirmations and delivery schedules Monitor stock levels and reorder points Maintain procurement documentation and filing accuracy Communicate with vendors regarding shipment updates 4. Qualifications Physically capable of lifting and moving inventory safely Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail in documentation and inventory tracking Basic proficiency in Excel and inventory systems Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable Ability to multitask between physical and administrative duties Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be measured quarterly based on the following: Warehouse Efficiency ≥ 99% order picking accuracy Inbound shipment processing within 24 hours Inventory discrepancy rate below 2% Facility Standards Zero safety violations Cleanliness inspection score ≥ 95% No preventable product damage due to storage conditions Procurement Performance Purchase order processing within 24 hours of request Vendor follow-up response time within 1 business day Zero stockouts due to internal delay Reliability & Productivity Attendance and punctuality standards met Ability to complete daily task list within scheduled hours Tiered Progression Model Warehouse & Operations Associate I (Entry Level) Focus on physical warehouse operations and facility upkeep Assists with procurement documentation Works under supervision
