This role is responsible for preparing outbound rental orders, processing returned inventory, and ensuring all equipment is event-ready. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and ensuring all upcoming events are properly supported. Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound (Shipping) Prepare all outbound rental orders using the Point of Rental (POR) system Fully prepped Organized in assigned shipping lanes Completed at least 24 hours prior to departure Verify accuracy of staged orders (counts, quality, completeness) Load trucks properly and ensure items are secured for transport Coordinate with logistics and route teams to ensure smooth deliveries Inbound (Receiving) Receive and process all returned rental equipment Prep in all TAC and Design items in POR within 24 hours of unloading Inspect all returned items for: Damage, Cleanliness, Rentable condition Red-tag and route damaged items for repair or cleaning Distribute items to correct department prep areas (Dish, Linen, Tent, etc.) within 24 hours Inventory Control & Quality Identify and report missing, damaged, or non-rentable items Perform basic repairs or coordinate repair workflow Ensure all inventory meets Alpine Events quality standards before returning to stock Warehouse Operations & Organization Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse Keep staging lanes clearly labeled and organized Ensure all inventory is stored in assigned locations when not in use Keep storage lanes clean and accessible Remove trash weekly (Fridays) Support overall warehouse flow and assist other departments as needed Dedicate the final 30 minutes of each shift to cleaning and organizing What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented and dependable Basic computer skills (inventory systems experience preferred) Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
