Inventory Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Norton Shores, Michigan. In this contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining inventory organization and supporting production processes for up to 90 days. This position requires strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack incoming inventory from crates and boxes, ensuring items are handled properly.
• Organize and sort parts into bins and designated storage areas for efficient access.
• Label and categorize components and supplies accurately to streamline inventory tracking.
• Restock inventory regularly to ensure production teams have easy access to needed materials.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day, to fulfill job duties.
• Lift and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds as required.
• Utilize inventory management systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, to track and update stock levels. Requirements
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or inventory management roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling inventory.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Familiarity with inventory software, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
