The Receiving Associate is responsible for handling all incoming materials and supporting warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, proper storage, and coordination with shipping and production to ensure efficient material flow. Schedule - Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pmKey Responsibilities:
Receive incoming materials into IQMS, ensuring accurate counts, labeling, and proper inventory placement within 24 hours. Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and report discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns. Unload and load trucks safely and efficiently. Complete all required receiving and freight documentation. Ensure finished goods are scanned and routed to the correct destination. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices and follow 5S standards. Monitor packaging quality and report any issues that could impact product integrity. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper recycling practices. Follow all safety and environmental procedures.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with receiving and inventory responsibilities. Forklift certified (or ability to become certified). Experience using scanner equipment and warehouse management systems (IQMS preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needsWork EnvironmentExpectations:
Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, or dusty. Requires substantial physical activity including reaching, lifting, and stepping on/off forklifts. Receiving and warehouse activities performed in all weather conditions (snow, rain, heat). Responsible for identifying and reporting any quality or packaging concerns. Why work at MMI?
