Full-time Job Title:
Inventory Control Reports to: Production Control Manager Job Summary Support accurate, timely management of inventory by performing cycle counts, reconciling stock discrepancies, maintaining records, and supporting receiving/stocking processes to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage. Responsibilities Perform routine cycle counts and full physical inventories according to schedule; document results. Reconcile count variances, investigate root causes, and submit adjustment requests with appropriate documentation. Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP (NetSuite) System; update locations, lot/serial numbers, and quantities. Assist with receiving, inspecting, labeling, and put-away of incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and stage items as needed to support order fulfillment and production. Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and support corrective actions (e.g., re-slitting, labeling improvements). Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock; coordinate disposition per procedure. Enforce inventory control procedures and safety standards; suggest process improvements. Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and forecast impacts. Prepare basic inventory reports and support audits.
KPI's:
Inventory accuracy rate (target %), Average Inventory turn time, On-time put-away accurancy Promote a Safety First culture. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or logistics certification preferred. 1+ years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related role preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) and barcode/RFID scanning. Basic math and data-entry skills; ability to interpret inventory reports and metrics. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good problem-solving and investigative skills. Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software). Effective communication and teamwork. Time management and ability to work under deadlines. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Must have the manual dexterity required to do the job Must be able to stand on hard surfaces, lifting and carrying objects, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Safety composite toed shoes or steel toed boots/shoes must be worn in production areas while production is running; safety glasses are required. 7am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) Some overtime required. Candidate needs to have the ability to adjust schedule to support off-shift production as required.
