Job Description
Fulfillment Tech I involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery by locating merchandise, verifying quantities, and properly labeling packages according to order details. Often utilizing warehouse management systems (Infoplus) and material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment. Hours are 6:00am
Completes UIN audits in our state's tracking system daily to ensure that all products have been transferred into the appropriate 'room' within METRC. Ensure anything that is done physically, is also completed digitally.
Completes investigations into any questionable UINs and the location of products.
Inspects products for damage or defects before being packed and shipped.
Communicates any problems that may arise within the vault to the manager.
Monitors product expiration dates.
Organizes hard copy files/reports.
Communicates with the packaging department for when finished goods are ready to be transferred from packaging to the vault.
Documents accurately all finished products that come into the vault. Gives detailed report of specifications of each item. I.e.: Product name, Weight, THC %, total amount, and flower tiers which are designated by Post Harvest and the Sales team.
Uses the warehouse management system (Infoplus) for receiving new inventory.
Moves all products to their categorized, designated storage space within the vault until fulfillment is ready to pull these products for delivery orders.
Carries out the consolidations of shelf space of these products to prepare for new inventory.
Utilizes pallet jacks, WAV, or other material handling equipment to move inventory efficiently.
Assists with any other projects/fulfillment duties that are assigned by manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalentFulfillment Operations (Picking, Packing, Shipping): 1 year (preferred)Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background checkMust be at least 21 years of age (as per legal requirements).? Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a constantly evolving new industry.
Analytical mind with strong math skillsAbility to learn and operate on software platforms related to inventory control/electronic tracking.
Must perform under high pressure situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The ability to respond quickly to sounds. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time. The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions. The ability to work in low light situations.
