Warehouse / Manufacturing / Shipping & Receiving Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Shipping / Receiving Operator to support warehouse and production operations in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for receiving incoming unprocessed product, verifying customer counts and lot numbers, noting damages, entering information into the computer system, and safely moving product throughout the facility using a forklift. The ideal candidate will have warehouse and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule in a fast-paced facility environment. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming unprocessed product and verify customer count, lot numbers, and product information. Inspect incoming product for damage and document any issues accurately. Enter receiving and product information into the computer system. Operate a forklift to remove palletized product from trucks. If product is floor loaded, remove cartons individually, place them on pallets, and move them to unprocessed storage. Move product by forklift to and from different areas of the facility for processing. Remove samples from customer product and coordinate shipment of samples as needed. Shrink-wrap palletized finished product to be returned to the customer. Contact trucking companies and schedule pickup of finished product when needed. Load palletized product onto trailers using a forklift. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months to 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred. 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Must be willing and able to work assigned shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. Basic computer skills required. Ability to enter, review, and analyze information in a database or spreadsheet. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive bending, lifting, and moving over an extended period of time. Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Special Requirements Must be medically approved for respirator use. Must be able to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and high humidity, including up to 120°F and 60% relative humidity for up to 20 minutes. Must follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and facility policies. Training Requirements Must complete all required training for the Shipping / Receiving Operator role as outlined in the training manual. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
