Job Description

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not currently have any supervisory responsibilities Position Summary The Shop Inventory Assistant is an opportunity that assists the Shop Inventory Specialist with processes such as cycle counts, stocking inventory, and keeping shelves clean and organized. This position also is responsible for assisting technicians by pulling orders, input data into company systems, and creating PO orders. Key Responsibilities Assist team members with maintaining accurate counts within Maintenance shop inventory Conduct periodic cycle counting Daily issue and return of inventory to maintenance warehouse Receive inventory for the maintenance warehouse Perform route consolidation of inventory Other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Ability to work independently and complete tasks without supervision Basic Office 365 skills in Excel, Outlook and Teams etc. Ability to read, comprehend, and compete data workbooks Ability to work independently and complete tasks without supervision Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate well across all departments in the organization Strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years' relevant work experience Forklift operator experience Prior experience with inventory management/ERP Systems Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily in a covered area, but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to driving the scooter. Employee must have the ability to life 50 pounds unaided, 75 pounds with assistance. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, however overtime and weekend work is required during peak seasons.
