Job Description
Receiving Technician Bryan Health United States, Nebraska, Kearney 804 22nd Avenue (Show on map) May 12, 2026 Responsible for daily receiving activities, Supply Chain projects as assigned, materials replenishment and maintenance to the Supply Chain Central Supply and Satellite locations. Responsible for the receiving of inventory values throughout the Facility by location at time of receipt. Responsible for keeping accurate receiving records and organization to the daily processes. Responsible to assist in areas of quality, inventory control and other duties as assigned. Delivers supplies and equipment to the user departments in an efficient and timely manner as assigned.
Interfaces directly with staff members of the user departments and the Supply Chain department to determine the need for assistance with inventory needs for the departments.
Completes receiving within same business day. Checks for quality of products, out-dates, accuracy of packing slips and receives products in the systems accurately into the correct location.
Follows all receiving protocols per policies and procedures.
Includes all proper documentation for interfacing departments (Engineering, Bio-Med and other).
Maintains packing slip documentation electronically and within filing system.
Notifies Purchasing and direct Supervisor about any overages, shortages, damages or other quality concerns.
Cycle counts inventory and maintains proper rotation, checks for out-dates, organization, identification, proper location of stock items and documentation in and outside the system.
Maintains all inventory quantities in the system.
Verifies that changes to the system have saved accurately.
Maintains communication on stock-outs, backorders and other inventory concerns with end-users, Department managers and Supply Chain Department.
Participates in all Physical Inventory counts and quality control efforts as assigned and completes in a timely manner.
Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility.
Maintains all equipment utilized in transporting supplies in a manner that ensures reliability, cleanliness and safe operation.
Notifies the Distribution and Receiving Manager when supplies or special orders are needed.
Requires minimal supervision in performance of job duties.
Understands how to prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties.
Is a self-starter; initiates the meeting of responsibilities without prompting.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
Communicates clearly and appropriately to the Distribution and Receiving Manager and co-workers. Utilizes communication devices and equipment assigned. Maintains communication equipment assigned.
Assists with Purchasing and Quality Control Duties as requested
Accepts other duties as requested.
Regulatory Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Some college or professional knowledge a plus. Supply Chain or Receiving experience preferredSimilar remote jobs
