Full Job Description Work Location:

Onsite - Linden NJ FreshRealm is looking for an Inventory Control Associate to accurately account for all inventory related to the production of meal kit recipe boxes and cross-train in the receiving department to receive produce & raw foods, assemble, ship, label, and/or package foods to customers using manual and IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete multiple daily inventory cycle counts. Ensure FIFO rotation throughout the facility. Manage the requisition of products from storage to production; record all inventory changes and input inventory data into the warehouse management system. Confirm product quality and quantity immediately after receiving processes have been completed. Understand the inventory needs of the preparation team necessary to complete the daily or weekly production target. Clearly communicate all significant inventory changes to the Inventory Control Team Lead. Resolve problems related to inventory, product quality, and yields. Perform other related duties as assigned. Receive foods, assemble Meal kits to recipe specifications, ship kits following Good Manufacturing Practices, and meet health and safety standards. Works on a limited number of food areas, lines, processes, or items. Work is relatively routine from week to week. May regularly operate standard conveyor belts or multiple pieces of essential equipment. Package meal kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved. Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. May receive products and ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Keep work areas/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go practices. May be required to complete essential paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling. Required to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as prescribed. In coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with Product, Food Safety, Quality, or Equipment and escalates matters to other departments or higher levels when needed.
