Req #1149 Inventory Control - Linden, 901 W Linden Ave, Linden, New Jersey, United States of America Job Description Posted Thursday, March 19, 2026, 11:00 PM Fresh Realm is hiring Inventory Control Associates to accurately account for all inventory related to the production of meal kit recipe boxes and cross-train in the receiving department to receive produce & raw foods, assemble, ship, label, and/or package foods to customers using manual and IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete multiple daily inventory cycle counts. Ensure FIFO rotation throughout the facility. Manage the requisition of product from storage to production; record all inventory changes and input inventory data into the warehouse management system. Confirm product quality and quantity immediately after receiving processes have been completed. Understand the inventory needs of the preparation team necessary to complete the daily or weekly production target. Clearly communicate all significant inventory changes to the Inventory Control Team Lead. Resolve problems related to inventory, product quality, and yields. Perform other related duties as assigned. Receive foods, assemble Meal kits to recipe specifications, ship kits following Good Manufacturing Practices, and meet health and safety standards. Works on a limited number of food areas, lines, processes, or items. Work is relatively routine from week to week. May regularly operate standard conveyor belts or multiple pieces of essential equipment. Package meal kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved. Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. May receive products and ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Keep work areas/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go practices. May be required to complete essential paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling. Required to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as prescribed. In coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with Product, Food Safety, Quality, or Equipment and escalates matters to other departments or higher levels when needed.
Qualifications:
Skills and Requirements Ability to count large quantities of product in the form of individual items, cases, and pallets Communication skills - must have good listening skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Capacity to follow detailed processes and procedures while offering creative improvements to those processes Ability to self-motivate and to problem solve in a fast-paced setting filled with hard deadlines Willingness to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job Experience /
Education:
