Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Hobbs, New Mexico. This contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of inventory control processes and a proven ability to maintain accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. Conduct inspections of inventory and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor and report on inventory levels to facilitate timely restocking and prevent shortages. Organize and manage the storage of materials to optimize space and improve accessibility. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and yard organization. Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records. Assist in developing and implementing improved inventory tracking systems and processes. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during inventory handling. Generate detailed inspection and inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support customer service efforts by providing accurate inventory information to field personnel and engineers. Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or materials management. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and audit processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Experience in conducting inspections and preparing comprehensive reports. Knowledge of safety and quality assurance standards in industrial environments. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes. Previous experience in environments such as oil and gas, steel, or industrial materials is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
