Inventory Supervisor Job Overview:
The Inventory Associate is part of the inventory department which is responsible for the proper unloading of inbound trucks, verifying and inspecting products for damages or discrepancies, receiving products into the WMS, performing routine cycle counts, slotting and locating inventory within the warehouse and WMS, recording and inspecting returned products, and ensuring the fulfillment team has product available for picking and shipping.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Count, verify, and inspect new inventory. Ensure all shipping plans are compliant with LVK receiving guidelines Communicate with the supervisor about any damages, discrepancies, or delays. Update product profiles (Weights, Dims, etc.) within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Process, inspect, record, and report returned inventory. Revising warehouse locations and moving inventory per velocity demands. Put back inventory that has been removed from shelves but not shipped. Identify locations within the warehouse and WMS for slotting of new inventory. Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy. Pull inventory from overstock for pickable replenishment. Ensure all inventory in a pickable location is pick-ready Assist with additional projects as needed.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma Experience:
Minimum 2 years inventory experience. Minimum 1 year of forklift experience (Electric Stand up, LPG Sit down) with a clean record.
Skills:
Good communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Critical analysis of proper counting and reporting Familiar with shipping systems and inventory systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and overall computer familiarity. Self-motivated and goal-orientated.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to use hands and fingers to perform tasks regularly. Must be able to walk, stand, and reach for extended periods/duration of shift. Must be able to hear, see, and verbally communicate following safety measures in the warehouse. Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
