Job Description

The Kitchen Receiver / Steward position at Heritage Grand Bakery & Restaurant spans both properties to ensure efficient and accurate receiving of deliveries, proper storage and organization of goods received, and regular inventory performance. The Steward position will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and will help the leadership team streamline inventory, prevent loss, and assist with vendor relations. The hours for this position are roughly Monday-Friday, 3am-12pm. No weekends. A seasoned candidate has demonstrated experience with invoice processing, delivery receiving, vendor relations, inventory practices, and strong written communication skills. An entry-level candidate must have experience with receiving deliveries, stocking goods and counting units/ reporting numbers back to a Controller/ F&B Manager. Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Receiving deliveries and verifying invoices for accurateness Assisting in Wholesale accounts Communicating with vendors/ delivery personelle Communicating with Bakery & Restaurant hourly/ Management team members about location/ quantity of goods received Able to lift at leasat 50 lbs. on a regular basis Organization of all goods received: food, beverage, CGS, paper materials, and linens; regular upkeep of all storage spaces Strong communication skills and personal organization--relays information to the F&B Manager in a regimented and consistent fashion Assisting in regular inventory of products, and communicates when items are low/ out Assisting team members in locating items from various storage locations on-site
