Overview Operating Room Anesthesia Associate St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center. The OR Anesthesia Associate is responsible for assisting Anesthesia and OR staff with services and tasks during patient procedures. Job Details Responsibilities Maintenance of supplies and equipment, including Central Line carts and monitors Prepares sterile trays Maintains patient monitoring in the OR Stocks supplies Obtains blood specimen collection from invasive lines Requirements HS Diploma or GED BLS Certification Knowledge of hospital, federal, and state patient safety, infection control regulations and guidelines 1-2 years recent related experience preferred: such as OR Tech, PCA or Medical Assistant Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel Excellent communication skills, able to work as a team with members of OR Able to stand, bend, move equipment and be on feet for prolonged period of time Able to work on call, weekend rotations and holidays as needed This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
