Job Description

Description The Equipment Operator I is primarily responsible for operation of power equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, dock lifts, and other machinery, to move inventory, pallets and cartons throughout the distribution center. It also requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs/23kg and to stand/walk or operate power equipment for the duration of the shift. The base salary for this position is $19.00/hr. In addition, other benefits include: $300 Certification Bonus when training is completed on Stockpicker or Reach truck. •One-time bonus for new associates only Paid holidays beginning on day one A 40% discount on all of our brands Safe, temperature-controlled work environment $200 Referral Bonus Mental Health Support Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Job Responsibilities:
Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, accurately fulfill orders, and make necessary adjustments, Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and other equipment to complete job duties Follow written, verbal, and computer-delivered instructions accurately to perform assigned tasks Identify inventory correctly and match product numbers to ensure proper handling and storage Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination for tasks requiring grasping, holding, or fine motor skills Maintain accurate records and verify documentation to support merchandise flow through the distribution center Operate motorized and non-motorized power equipment such as forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors for majority of working hours Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment When necessary, individual is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC
