Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock movements, conducting regular audits, and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and availability. Coordinate with procurement teams to facilitate sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities, ensuring timely replenishment of materials and products. Utilize data mining, data analysis skills, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to identify trends, root causes of stock discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements. Support logistics functions including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling to optimize warehouse distribution efficiency. Conduct demand planning and supply chain analytics to forecast inventory needs accurately, leveraging ERP systems like SAP or AS400 for data collection and analysis. Assist in category management initiatives by analyzing pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and merchandising data to maximize profitability. Perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate forklifts or other materials handling equipment safely to support warehouse operations. Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain roles with a strong understanding of logistics processes. Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as SAP or AS400), SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of procurement practices including sourcing, contracts management, and supplier relationship management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, and demand planning using data analytics techniques. Familiarity with materials handling equipment including forklifts; certification is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to perform data mining and analysis for process improvement initiatives. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical activity such as heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
