Supply Chain Job Description:
Under general supervision, put away, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout various healthcare settings. Along with managing and auditing various supply locations. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Perform all essential job duties related to Tech I role. Manage supply room put away and scanning for OR and procedural areas. Audit supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts, and restocking Exchange Carts such as Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays. Manage and support identified projects. Assist with perpetual inventory accuracy by reviewing quick issue reports while collaborating with Inventory Control for adjustments. Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy / process. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Perform put away responsibilities for perpetual warehouse storage. Responsible for supply room maintenance (labels, signage, dividers, overstock, and other TJC regulations). Ability to train any staff members on all essential job duties. Verify that all requisitions have been adequately processed in Workday. General Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements At least 3 years' experience in Healthcare or Inventory management. License/Certification/Registration Requirements None required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements Typing, use of computers, computer software, and the ability to learn software applications necessary in the performance of typical work. Proficiency in utilizing the MMIS. Knowledge of general office equipment such a fax machines, copy machines, box cutters and printers. Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners. Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening. Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving. Ability to operate pallet jacks. Day to day duties include bending, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 40-50 lbs. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to cover multiple areas at any time.
